Summer Camp | Music Mania "Songwriting & Music Basics": 6th-8th

Interested in music and songwriting? Join us with local, professional musician Will Padgett, as we take a trip through the history of Appalachian, Folk, Irish, Country, and other music styles. This class will provide students with a variety of instruments to try out and experiment playing. Students will do a deep dive into the basics of songwriting and how to put your thoughts not only on paper, but turn them into a song. This class will also offer ukulele lessons and a chance to build their very own instrument to take home. 

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
