303. Science + Art Discovery Day: Afternoon Session

The afternoon session in this fun-filled day is all about the art. We’ll be diving into the beautiful world of photography with the Creative Camera Club's annual exhibition on display throughout the building, playing games and going on a scavenger hunt. We’ll learn all about the art of collage, creating eye-catching collages based on portraits, still life, sports, and abstract images; all while investigating various collage artists, and discussing line, shape, pattern, repetition. Finishing it all off, we’ll be creating frames for our beautiful collages. Students will explore the LASC’s clay studio and make a ceramic frame for their amazing masterpiece.
