218. Slab-Built: From Flat to Form with Angela Carbone

Working with soft and hard slabs, hand building construction techniques, templates, and simple molds, students will create a variety of functional pottery forms including cups, vases, plates, and one-of-a-kind presentation pots. We'll emphasize good form, experiment with various surface decorations including wax resist, sgraffito and much more.
