Session 1: 348. The Science of Taste | April 7, 6:00 - 7:30 PM | Ages 21+

Snack your way through the 5 basic senses, then take a scientific look at taste and how it led to the development of society. Includes 5 small snacks, wine or beer.

Light refreshments served. Ages 21+ Only.

Session 2: 349. Your Food Footprint | April 14, 6:00 - 7:30 PM | Ages 18+

How is climate change affecting our food supply and what can we do? Make a small pastry with locally sourced ingredients and take home a recipe for a smaller carbon footprint.

Session 3: 350. GMOs - Fact vs. Fiction | April 21, 6:00 - 7:30 PM | Ages 18+

Use your senses to explore GMO and non-GMO food and bust popular myths about “organics.”
Get your hands dirty – take home a small herb that you planted yourself.

Session 4: 351. Global Observer | April 28, 6:00 - 7:30 PM | Ages 18+

Learn to use free NASA Globe & iNaturalist apps to collect data about trees, clouds, bugs, birds, literally everything! Take a short field trip to test out your new skills and enjoy a warm beverage while we learn about science!
