342. Giant Geometry with Ashlee Collins

This day-long course will explore the connection between art making and math!  In the morning on a miniature scale, students will assemble curves out of straight lines using brightly colored string on paper.  Collaboratively, in the afternoon we will increase the scale and work as a group to make a gigantic ‘string art’ on the front lawn of the LASC. Students will learn about shapes, lines, and angles all while creating an amazing outdoor sculpture. **Lunch period included, please pack a lunch.**
